Datacenex work on many different roles within the data center sector from entry-level to leadership and normally we base referral fees on the level of the position.  But for November 2020, we are doing a whopping €1000 referral fee on any of our roles!

So get messaging your friends, contacting old colleagues (or current ones 😉 ) and get their details over to us!!

But I don’t know anyone in the data center industry…

Whilst we recruit exclusively in the data center industry, this does not mean we work exclusively with data center candidates.  Many people from other engineering focused industries have the impression that to work in a data center you must have great ICT knowledge, however this is not the case.

A large part of data center’s workforce is focused on mechanical and electrical engineering for equipment such as: UPS systems; Generators; Chillers; HVAC and CRAC units; Switchgear; Building Management Systems; and Fire Suppression.

Therefore we can consider technical staff with transferable skills from other industries.  We have made hires from critical industries such as: Marine and Shipping; Pharmaceutical; Hospitals and Care; Energy; Oil & Gas; Offshore Wind; Food Production; Facilities Services; Manufacturing; and Heavy Industry.

Terms & Conditions for Referral Scheme

The following Terms and Conditions apply. If these are not met in full it may impact on the referral fee being made:

  1. The ‘Referred Candidate’ must not already be registered with us (or we have not had contact with the candidate for min 12 months).
  2. Any referral must include contact details (telephone number and email) of the candidate
  3. The ‘Referee’ must register the ‘Referred Candidate’ by sending an email with their contact details and job title to: referrals@datacenex.co.uk or directly to a consultant.
  4. Datacenex Recruitment confirms in writing, acceptance of the ‘Referred Candidate’ onto the scheme.
  5. Where the same ‘Referred Candidate’ is introduced by more than one person, only the first application received will qualify for the fee.
  6. Datacenex Recruitment will have successfully placed the ‘Referred Candidate’ in a new role within six months of the date of the application.
  7. Once placed, the ‘Referred Candidate’ must continue in the employment for a minimum period of 12 weeks, after which the fee will be paid.
  8. For contract employment, the ‘Referred Candidate’ must continue in the employment for a minimum period of two consecutive months, after which the fee will be paid.
  9. In the event of a disputed fee, the Datacenex Recruitment’s decision shall be final.
  10. We retain the right to change the conditions or cancel the scheme without written notice.
